Adeline Rudolph is an actor, born 1995.
Rudolph modelled before she acted, and the acting career that followed has stayed almost entirely inside genre television. She debuted in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which ran from 2018 to 2020, as Agatha, a witch whose function is to make life harder for the lead, and she played it with a stillness that read as genuinely unfriendly rather than camp.
From there: Riverdale in 2021, then Billie Wesker in Netflix's Resident Evil, a show that gave her more to do than its reception suggested. Hellboy: The Crooked Man and the comedy Laid both followed in 2024, which is a useful pair, since they demonstrate that the flat, watchful register she does so well can be turned into a joke.
The next step is the biggest. She plays Kitana in Mortal Kombat II, a franchise role in a property whose audience scrutinises casting, and that is the sort of part that either sets the next decade of a career or vanishes with the sequel. Hong Kong-born and British, she has so far been cast as though she can be placed anywhere, and on the evidence she can.

Where to start with Adeline Rudolph
The place to start is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and specifically its first two seasons, where the show is still balancing teen drama against real gothic and Agatha has an arc rather than a function. It remains the most watchable thing on her list by a clear margin.
Resident Evil is the mixed one: an ambitious adaptation that argues with itself, worth a couple of episodes to watch her carry scenes as a lead rather than a foil. Hellboy: The Crooked Man is a low-budget folk-horror take on the character, better than its reception and short enough to risk. Laid is the change of register, a comedy, and proof she can time a joke.
The one to wait for is Mortal Kombat II, with Do Not Enter arriving in the same window.
