Amy Louise Pemberton
Amy Louise Pemberton is an actor, born 1988.
Most of the people who know Amy Louise Pemberton's work have never seen her face. She is the voice of Gideon, the ship's artificial intelligence on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which means years of performing without a body: no reaction shots, no blocking, nothing but timing and tone to make a computer sound like it cares what happens to the crew. She solves it by playing Gideon faintly amused, which is a harder and better choice than playing her warm.
The rest of the voice work sits in games and audio drama. She voiced Elaena Glenmore in the Game of Thrones game and Slone in Titanfall 2 (2016), and she has played Private Sally Morgan alongside the Seventh Doctor in Big Finish's Doctor Who audio plays, a format that is all voice and therefore suits her exactly. On camera the parts have been smaller: Lucy in the British genre film Storage 24 (2012), a scene in The Laundromat (2019), Dorothy in Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz (2016). Two 2026 releases are ahead of her, Scream 7 as Deputy Cooke and Missing the Boat.

Where to start with Amy Louise Pemberton
Her fullest performance is the one you cannot see. Start with DC's Legends of Tomorrow and listen to what Gideon does across a series that got sillier every season: the voice is the one fixed point in it, and Pemberton keeps finding new shades of dry in a part written as a utility.
For live action, Storage 24 gives her the most to do on this page, a small British horror film where she gets to be someone rather than something. Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz is the one for children in the house. The Laundromat is a blink and nothing more. Scream 7, due in 2026, is the first title on this list with a large audience already waiting for it.
