Anna Vocino
Anna Vocino is an actor.
Most of her career happens in a booth. Vocino, born in Virginia, is an actress, comedian and cookbook author whose steadiest work has been voice: national promo campaigns for ABC's Thursday-night Shondaland block and later for NBC, and more than a decade of voice and character work on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Promo voicing is invisible by design, which is why a familiar voice can be attached to an unfamiliar name.
The animation credits are the visible half. She played Jeannie in Batman: The Killing Joke, Oracle in DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year, a tour guide in Superman: Red Son, a Russian babushka in Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Greta in Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and Norma in the animated feature Deep. She also narrates true-crime television, including Snapped: Killer Couples, a very different use of the same instrument.
In 2026 she takes over Mrs. Potato Head in Toy Story 5, inheriting the role after the death of Estelle Harris in April 2022. That is a specific kind of assignment, inheritance rather than impression, and it asks for exactly the continuity her promo work is built on.
On camera she was a regular on the semi-improvised comedy Free Radio, and she writes the Eat Happy Kitchen cookbooks, a parallel career that has nothing to do with any of the above.

Where to start with Anna Vocino
If you want to hear what she actually does, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is the place. The show is bright, weird and well cast, and Greta gives her a character with an attitude rather than a function, which most of the ensemble voice work on this list does not.
Batman: The Killing Joke is the heaviest credit, an adaptation with a small but exposed part for her in the flashback material. Blade Runner: Black Lotus and Superman: Red Son are the other genre animations, and DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year is the one to put on for children.
Toy Story 5 will be the widest audience she has ever had, taking on Mrs. Potato Head. And Free Radio is the on-camera curiosity, an improvised sitcom that shows the comedian underneath the voice work.
