Antonio Cipriano
Antonio Cipriano is an actor, born 2000.
Broadway came first. Cipriano, born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 2000, made his Broadway debut in 2019 as Phoenix in the musical Jagged Little Pill, which is a very different entrance from the usual child-actor route into television.
The screen work followed quickly and has mostly stayed in one lane: the American teen ensemble with a genre engine underneath it. He played Oren Bradley in Disney+'s National Treasure: Edge of History, then Buck Renna in Amazon's Harlan Coben's Shelter, and more recently John Logan in Off Campus. The parts share a register. He tends to be the loud one in the group, the friend whose comic energy is quietly doing structural work in scenes that would otherwise be pure plot delivery, and he is good enough at it that directors keep asking for exactly that.
Two credits break the pattern. A Week Away: The Series keeps the musical thread alive for the audience that found him singing, and The Alto Knights drops him into period costume as the young version of a mob figure, a small part in a large film. It is the first role here that is not asking him to be charming.

Where to start with Antonio Cipriano
Start with Harlan Coben's Shelter. It is the best showcase of what he does: a mystery series that needs its teenage cast to carry long stretches of exposition and stay watchable while doing it, and Buck is the character delivering the jokes that keep it moving.
National Treasure: Edge of History is the same skill inside a bigger and blander machine, so watch it second, if at all. Off Campus is the current one and the fairer test of whether he can hold a series rather than season it. The Alto Knights is the outlier, a few minutes of period gangster work in a film that otherwise has nothing to do with the rest of this page, and A Week Away: The Series is for viewers who came in through the musicals. None of it is essential yet. The interesting question is which of these directions the next few years pick.
