Ara Celi
Ara Celi is an actor, born 1974.
Ara Celi's page is a short one and there is no point pretending otherwise. Born in El Paso, she worked in American film and television through the late 1990s, taking a starring role in the small 1997 dance movie Looking for Lola and, for a certain generation, a guest turn as the Inca princess Ampata in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Inca Mummy Girl. That is the credit people actually remember, and it is not among the ones listed here.
The four gathered on this page run from 1993 to 2010: Theresa Alvarez on Saved by the Bell: The College Years, a bit part in American Beauty as one of the women at a house sale, Esmeralda in the horror-western prequel From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter, and a reporter in Machete. Only the third gives her anything substantial to do.
She has since become a familiar face in regional American advertising, fronting car dealership campaigns in San Antonio, Austin, McAllen and Tulsa. That is a perfectly good living and a more honest ending than most short filmographies get.

Where to start with Ara Celi
There is one real performance here and it is in From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter, the period prequel where she plays Esmeralda and gets more to do than the rest of this list combined. It is a direct-to-video horror western with a better cast than it deserves, and she is good in it. Machete and American Beauty are blink-and-miss appearances, though the second is a great film and worth watching for its own sake. Saved by the Bell: The College Years is the earliest credit and pure 1990s network television. Her best-known role, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is not among the credits listed here.
