Bad Bunny is an actor, born 1994.
The music came first and still carries the weight. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, working as Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter and producer, widely credited with taking Spanish-language rap fully into the global mainstream and with widening what Latin urban music is allowed to contain, pulling salsa, rock and other traditions into the recordings. The billing that stuck is King of Latin Trap.
The albums are the spine of the catalogue: X 100PRE in 2018, OASIS in 2019, YHLQMDLG and EL ULTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO in 2020, Un verano sin ti in 2022, DeBI TiRAR MaS FOToS in 2025. His awards include the Grammy for Album of the Year, Best Global Music Performance and Best Musica Urbana Album, plus Latin Grammys for urban music and a regional Mexican song, which is a strange and telling spread for an artist filed under reggaeton and trap.
The screen career grew out of the fame rather than any obvious ambition, and it has gone better than those usually do. He was a lookout in F9, Wolf in Bullet Train, Felipe in Cassandro, then Caught Stealing and Happy Gilmore 2 in 2025, with a voice part in Toy Story 5 to come. Wrestling is a genuine sideline, visible here in WWE's Most Wanted Treasures, and he turns up across the SNL fiftieth anniversary specials.
The acting is supporting work by a musician, and he is unusually good at it. The records are still the argument.

Where to start with Bad Bunny
Take the music first, and take Un verano sin ti first within it. It is the most approachable thing he has made, loose and warm and built for a summer, and it works as an introduction even if you do not speak Spanish.
Go backwards from there. X 100PRE is the debut and the most restless record, YHLQMDLG is the one that made him unavoidable, and EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO is the odd, rock-leaning outlier that is better than its reputation. DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS is the most recent, and the one that rewards patience.
On screen, Bullet Train is the right sample: he plays Wolf with real comic commitment and does not overstay. Cassandro is the better film and the smaller part. Skip the rest of the acting until you have heard the albums.
