Bohdan Stupka

Bohdan Sylvestrovych Stupka was a Ukrainian actor of theatre and film. He was among Ukraine's most prominent leading actors during his lifetime and among the last prominent Soviet actors in Ukrainian film. Stupka received a variety of awards and accolades, including the titles of People's Artist of the USSR and Hero of Ukraine and the Shevchenko National Prize. He served as minister of culture from 1999 to 2001, under prime minister Viktor Yushchenko.
