Brian Le is an actor, born 1993.
Two brothers taught themselves martial arts from YouTube clips and kung fu films, built a channel to post what they could do, and got hired by Hollywood off the back of it. That is the entire origin story, and it is close to unprecedented. Brian Le, born in 1993, co-founded Martial Club around 2012 with his brother Andy and their friend Daniel Mah, and the channel functioned as an audition tape running permanently in public.
What the brothers carried into the industry is a specific discipline: choreography designed to be legible in a single unbroken shot, because an online audience will not forgive an edit that hides a move which did not land. That is why they get hired. In Everything Everywhere All at Once his credit reads "Alpha Jumper", the trophy fight, which is the sequence people were still describing to each other years afterwards. He was Punk Boi in The Paper Tigers, an independent martial-arts comedy that thinks seriously about ageing bodies.
The work since has been mostly action-led: JC Wang in The Brothers Sun, Pigsy in American Born Chinese, Samael in Shadow Master, plus leads in smaller genre pictures like Bangkok Dog and Gladiator Underground. He plays Ho in The Furious, due in 2026. He is a fight performer being promoted into an actor, and the credits show the transition happening in real time.

Where to start with Brian Le
Everyone starts with Everything Everywhere All at Once whether they intend to or not, and it repays a rewatch aimed specifically at the fight the Le brothers built: the choreography survives the film's chaos because it was designed to be read in one continuous shot.
The Brothers Sun is the better showcase, though. A full series has room for extended action, and JC Wang gives him more to play than a single set piece. The Paper Tigers is the sentimental favourite, a low-budget comedy about middle-aged men who used to be good, and it contains some of the most honest fight work of its year.
American Born Chinese uses him for mythology rather than realism, while Shadow Master and Bangkok Dog are for people who seek out streaming action on purpose. The Furious is the one to watch for next.
