Cyrus Arnold
Cyrus Arnold is an actor, born 2003.
The earliest credit in his file here reads "Young Bully #2", which turns out to be less a starting point than a job description. Cyrus Arnold, born in Burbank in 2003, worked as a child actor across television, including B.J. on the Nickelodeon sitcom Sam & Cat, before being cast as Derek Zoolander Jr. in Zoolander 2 in 2016 and, the year after, as David "Truck" Johnson III in the second season of the Fox series The Exorcist.
What happened next happens to boys who get tall early. He hit adolescence at a useful size and the industry started handing him the kid you are meant to be wary of: Josh Jagorski in 8-Bit Christmas, Kenny Yankovich in Mr. Harrigan's Phone, Kip Quade in Run Hide Fight, Hunter Drew in Family Switch. He is better at this than the parts deserve, because the trick with a screen antagonist is not menace but timing, and Arnold plays the pause before the shove rather than the shove.
He is in his twenties now with more than a decade of credits behind him, which puts him in the awkward crossing every former child actor has to make. Baby Blue, released in 2025, is the current answer to that question, and the roles have started arriving with more than one dimension attached.

Where to start with Cyrus Arnold
Mr. Harrigan's Phone is the one to try first, and not because his part is the biggest. It is a Stephen King adaptation with a slow, melancholy register, and Arnold supplies the pressure that makes the quiet stretches work. Watching him in it tells you quickly whether you like what he does.
For the comic version of the same energy, Zoolander 2 gave him the loudest role of his childhood and 8-Bit Christmas drops him into a warm period comedy where his sheer size is the joke. Run Hide Fight is the difficult one, a school-siege thriller plenty of viewers will want to avoid on subject matter alone.
The early television, Sam & Cat and Richie Rich, is exactly what child-actor television is, and Just Beyond is the better-made version. Baby Blue is where to look for the adult career.
