Drawn Together is the credit Jeser will always be introduced by, and fairly so. He co-created it with Matt Silverstein for Comedy Central: a cartoon that dropped a house full of animation archetypes into a reality-show format and then spent its run locating the precise point where a joke stops being funny and carrying on past it. Whether that is a virtue depends entirely on your tolerance, but it was a deliberate method rather than laziness.
The rest of the resume is the working half of American television comedy. He wrote on 3rd Rock from the Sun, The Man Show, Action, Greg the Bunny, 3-South, The Goode Family, The Cleveland Show, Axe Cop and Life in Pieces, and ran Crank Yankers. He created the MTV animated comedy DJ and the Fro, Golan the Insatiable, and later Johnny Knoxville's The Prank Panel, plus What Just Happened??! with Fred Savage.
It adds up to a career spent almost entirely in the register of comedy that is trying to get away with something, whether the vehicle is a network sitcom or a cartoon engineered to be complained about.

Where to start with Dave Jeser
There is really one entry point, and it is Drawn Together. Watch two episodes before deciding, because the show's whole method is escalation past the point where you have made up your mind: one episode reads as pure shock value, two read as an argument about what animation is permitted to do with its own history.
The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! is the send-off, and it only works if the series landed for you at all. What Just Happened??! with Fred Savage is the odd late credit and the closest thing on this list to a show that behaves itself, which makes it a strange but revealing companion piece.
