Don Omar
Don Omar, born William Omar Landron Rivera, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. Critics and fans call him the King of Reggaeton, Billboard and Rolling Stone have both filed him as a legend of the genre, and other Hispanic urban performers cite him routinely as an influence. He holds Latin Grammy Awards for Best Urban Music Album and Best Urban Song.
His screen career is narrow and specific. He plays Santos in the Fast and Furious films, across four of them from 2009 onwards, a supporting part built on presence rather than dialogue. Everything else in this catalogue is a guest appearance as himself. The records are the body of work; the films are a sideline, and an enjoyable one.

Where to start with Don Omar
There are only a handful of screen credits here, so this is quick. Start with Fast & Furious, the 2009 entry that introduces Santos and gives the character his one proper introduction. Fast Five is the better film by a distance, the point where the series turned into a heist franchise and stopped pretending to be about street racing, and he is part of the crew that made the switch work.
F9 and The Fate of the Furious are for viewers already committed to the franchise rather than to him. Worth being straight about it: the acting is a sideline, and the reggaeton catalogue that actually made his name is not something this site can point you at.
