Eden Riegel
Eden Riegel is an actor, born 1981.
Riegel was working in front of a microphone and a camera before most actors finish training. She voiced the young Miriam in The Prince of Egypt in 1998 and turned up the following year in American Pie, billed as Sarah, the Sophomore Chick, which is the kind of credit that tells you exactly where a young performer sits in the machine.
Daytime television is what made her name. As Bianca Montgomery on All My Children she played a character who became a genuine landmark in the medium and a gay icon well beyond it, and after several earlier nominations she won the Daytime Emmy for the role in 2005. Soap acting rewards a particular skill, the ability to play enormous emotion at speed and on schedule without letting it curdle, and she had it.
Since then she has built a second career almost entirely in animation. She is Kiara in The Lion Guard and its feature-length opener, Maggie in Amphibia, Jade Cartwright in Close Enough, Razzy in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series, and part of the vocal ensemble on The Owl House and The Ghost and Molly McGee. That is a specific corner of the industry, the recent Disney and adult-animation wave, and she turns up on several of those shows at once.

Where to start with Eden Riegel
Two routes here, and they barely overlap. The animation route starts with Amphibia, where Maggie gives her more to play than a supporting voice part usually allows, and continues through The Lion Guard and Close Enough, which is the adult end of her voice work and the one most likely to surprise you.
The live-action route is shorter. American Pie is the credit people recognise, Year One is the strangest thing on her list, and The Prince of Egypt is where the voice career quietly started.
All My Children is the reason she has a page at all, and it is the only place to see the work that won her the Emmy. Fair warning: it is thousands of episodes deep, so treat it as an archive rather than a watch-through.
