Gregg Berger
Gregg Berger is an actor, born 1950.
Gregg Berger has been working in American animation since the early 1980s, which means his voice is a piece of household furniture for roughly three generations of people who could not name him if asked. The signature is range without vanity. He does not have one voice he sells; he has a filing cabinet, and he opens whichever drawer the job needs.
The two roles that stuck are opposites. As Grimlock in The Transformers he gave the Dinobot leader a slab of dim, roaring, broken grammar that became a franchise catchphrase. As Odie in the Garfield cartoons he had no dialogue whatsoever, and built a complete character out of panting, whimpering and one very enthusiastic bark, which is a harder job than the talking parts and never gets described as one.
Around those sit the Gromble, the monster schoolteacher in Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Agent K in the Men in Black cartoon, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio in the 1994 Spider-Man, and Bill Licking in The Angry Beavers. Games took a large share of the later career: Jecht in Final Fantasy X, Captain Blue in Viewtiful Joe, Eeyore in Kingdom Hearts II, Hunter and Ripto in the Spyro series, none of which are among the credits listed here.
He never stopped, and the recent work is mostly the unglamorous end of the trade, additional voices on Inside Out, Monsters University and Despicable Me 3. That is the layer of crowd and background performance every big animated film needs and none of them advertise.

Where to start with Gregg Berger
Odie is the obvious place to begin, which means Garfield and Friends, and it is worth it for a specific reason: Odie has no dialogue, so you are listening to an actor construct a character purely out of breathing.
For the other Berger, The Transformers and The Transformers: The Movie have Grimlock, whose broken-grammar bark outlived the toys that paid for him. Aaahh!!! Real Monsters gives him the Gromble, pitched somewhere between a headmaster and a lizard, and it may be the funniest work here.
After that, sample by decade: Spider-Man for a theatrical Kraven, Men in Black: The Series for a deadpan Agent K, The Angry Beavers for the strangest voice on this list. His game roles, Jecht in Final Fantasy X and Ripto in Spyro among them, are where a lot of players first heard him, though those sit outside the credits shown here.
