Jackie Collins
Jackie Collins wrote thirty-two novels and every single one hit the New York Times list, which nobody else has managed. Five hundred million copies. The books are about Hollywood money, sex and revenge, written by someone who actually lived there and knew exactly whose door she was leaving ajar. Her sister Joan is the actress. She was dismissed by critics for fifty years and outsold all of them.

Where to start with Jackie Collins
The Stud is the 1969 debut and the one that set the template, later filmed with her sister. The power trip is a late one, a yacht full of appalling rich people. Confessions of a wild child is the Lucky Santangelo prequel and Poor little bitch girl is from the same late run. She also acted, including Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, which is exactly as advertised.
