Jacqueline Voltaire was British-born and built her career in Mexico, which is a rarer trajectory than the reverse. She worked as a model, singer and dancer and became a familiar presence in telenovelas, most of them for Televisa, and the television credits listed here reflect that: Contra viento y marea, Hearts to the Limit, Distilling Love.
The film list is small and quietly enviable. She is in Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain as a tourist's wife, which more or less guarantees she saw things on a set that most actors never will. She is in David Lynch's Dune, uncredited. She is in John Sayles's Men with Guns as a rich lady, in The Arrival as a reporter, and in the cross-border drama Under the Same Moon as Sra. Mckenzie.

Where to start with Jacqueline Voltaire
The Holy Mountain is where to start, and not primarily for her. It is one of the strangest films ever financed, and her scene sits inside a sequence that most viewers remember decades later whether they want to or not.
Dune is the famous one, though her work in it is uncredited, so approach it as a curiosity rather than a performance. Men with Guns is the best-made film on the list and the one to watch if you care about the writing. Under the Same Moon is the most emotionally direct, The Arrival is 1990s science fiction of the paranoid kind, and Contra viento y marea is where her actual day job lived.
