John Dicks is an English actor whose career has run mostly on stage: work with the RSC, and a part in Jeeves, Andrew Lloyd Webber's London flop of 1975, where he also sang on the rare cast recording. That recording is probably the scarcest item on his CV.
On screen our catalog holds four credits, and one of them is famous by association: Captain Lennox in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), a small speaking part in an enormous film. The rest is Frate Filippo in the 1982 Marco Polo miniseries and two 1991 films, Return to the Blue Lagoon and Flirting. Wikipedia adds The First Kangaroos (1988) and Queen of the Damned (2002), neither of which we hold.

The better evening is Flirting, a modest Australian coming-of-age film that is considerably better than its neighbour on this list, Return to the Blue Lagoon, which is worth watching only if you enjoy a bad film honestly. Marco Polo is the last of the four, an early-1980s international miniseries where he plays a friar, and it is for the curious rather than the casual.
