Olivia Taylor Dudley is an actor, born 1985.
Horror hired her first and kept hiring. Dudley spent the early 2010s in a run of genre pictures, Chernobyl Diaries (2012), The Vatican Tapes (2015) and Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (2015), the sort of parts that require an actor to stay plausible while the camera shakes and the plot does the talking. She was also part of the internet sketch group 5-Second Films, which is a different discipline entirely and shows in her comic timing.
The Magicians is what showed the rest of the range. As Alice Quinn she plays a brilliant, socially airless student whose competence is a defence mechanism, and the series keeps putting the character through transformations that would sink a less controlled performance. It is the only long-form role on this page and by a distance the most demanding.
Since then she has moved toward smaller and stranger films: She Dies Tomorrow (2020), an indie about dread passing from person to person like a contagion; Crawlspace (2022); the horror comedy Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls (2023); Charity Hudson Dow on Nancy Drew. The shape of the career is an actor genre directors trust completely, who has not yet been handed something outside genre to match what she did on television.

Where to start with Olivia Taylor Dudley
Go to The Magicians first and give it a few episodes. Alice Quinn begins as the prickly overachiever at the edge of the frame and ends up the hardest part on the show, and Dudley is the reason the character's coldness reads as fear rather than snobbery. For the film work, She Dies Tomorrow is the one to see: quiet, contagious, far more interested in atmosphere than incident, and the best directed thing on her list. Chernobyl Diaries is the early job that got her the rest, watchable if you enjoy tourists in places they should not be. The Vatican Tapes and Crawlspace are for genre completists only. Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls is the strange one, a horror comedy grown out of an internet character, and she is entirely game for it.
