The acting credit is one line on a very long list. Kim Tae-hyung, born in Daegu in 1995, debuted in 2013 as a member of BTS under Big Hit, and almost all of the screen work gathered here is a by-product of that: concert films, tour documentaries, variety series and a decade of late-night appearances.

The music sits outside this page but explains it. He has released three solo tracks under the group's name, Stigma in 2016, Singularity in 2018 and Inner Child in 2020, all of which charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, and Scenery in 2019 was the first song he put out independently and wrote himself. A full solo album, Layover, followed in 2023.

The one straight acting job is Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, where he played Han-Sung and, with Jin, contributed the single It's Definitely You to the soundtrack. Everything else is the modern pop-star screen career: Burn the Stage and Bring the Soul following the group on tour, Break the Silence going backstage, In the SOOP taking them to a lake house, Run BTS! turning them into a game show, and Jinny's Kitchen putting him behind a counter in a restaurant abroad. It is a strange body of work to assess as performance, because none of it is performance in the acting sense and all of it is.
