Evil Cat is a 1987 Chinese-language horror movie directed by Dennis Yu Wan-Kwong, with a running time of 1h 31m. It stars Lau Kar-leung, Joann Tang and Mark Cheng Ho-Nam.
Every 50 years, a member of the Cheung family must kill a cat demon until its nine lives are up. However, Master Cheung is worried cancer will kill him before he can complete his task and decides to give a newcomer the power to defeat the demon.
