Lan Guangchang (played by Michael Tse) is a children's program host who has always dreamed of becoming a movie star. However, given his current situation, it seems his dream is still a long way off. Gai Lan sees great potential in Lan Guangchang and signs a contract with him, promising to help him rise to stardom. Unfortunately, just after the contract is signed, Gai Lan unexpectedly passes away. Helpless, Lan Guangchang has no choice but to pin his hopes for success on Gai Yingjing.
