Under Rug Swept is the fifth studio album album by the Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette. It was released in the United Kingdom on February 26, 2002, and in the United States the following day by Maverick Records. It was the first album to be written and produced solely by Morissette. The title is taken from a lyric in the lead single, "Hands Clean".
