Sam Lake

Sam Lake, born Sami Jarvi, is a Finnish writer and the creative director of Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Max Payne, Alan Wake, Control and Quantum Break. He wrote the original Max Payne and was its on-screen face, lending the character his iconic pained grimace. As distinctive a performer as he is a writer, he later played the detective Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2 and appears in cameos across Remedy's games. He is one of the most recognisable auteurs in video game storytelling.
