Every Version of The Loud House

The original Nickelodeon animated series, which began in 2016, is the version that works best and is the reason everything else exists. It is fast, warm, and genuinely funny across a wide age range, with enough heart in its family dynamics to earn the occasional emotional beat. The show's particular achievement is making each of Lincoln's ten sisters feel distinct without reducing them to single-trait caricatures. Start here and start from the beginning.

The Casagrandes ran for three seasons and earned its own film, but it largely flew under the radar outside the core Loud House fanbase. Ronnie Anne's extended family, living together across multiple apartments above her grandfather's bodega, gave the spin-off a slightly different register: a denser ensemble, a stronger sense of place, and a Latino family dynamic rarely centered in American children's animation. It deserves a wider audience than it found.

The Really Loud House (2022) is not without charm, and Wolfgang Schaeffer is a likable Lincoln, but live-action Nickelodeon sitcoms have always struggled to replicate the energy of animation. The physical comedy that works in cartoons lands differently with real kids in a real house, and the series often feels like a stage production of the original rather than a genuine reinvention. It is fine for the youngest viewers in the family, and not much more than that.
