South Park
South Park started in 1997 as Comedy Central's foul-mouthed, construction-paper sitcom and has since metastasized across every format Trey Parker and Matt Stone could get their hands on. The 1999 feature, Bigger, Longer & Uncut, remains the sharpest movie-musical anyone ever smuggled out of a cartoon about fourth-graders.
What makes the franchise distinctive is that the spinoffs are not cash-ins. The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole play like fully interactive episodes because Parker and Stone wrote them that way, and the streaming-era specials (Post COVID, the Streaming Wars two-parter, Joining the Panderverse, The End of Obesity) treat feature length as just a longer canvas for the same topical reflexes.
The constant is voice. Whether it is a TV episode, an RPG, or a mobile card battler like Phone Destroyer, the joke arrives on the same week's news cycle.
The South Park franchise spans 1 series, 5 games, 8 films in the CrossBinge catalog.
