Knights of Sidonia: The Movie is a 2015 Japanese-language action movie directed by Kobun Shizuno, with a running time of 2h 14m. It stars Ryota Osaka, Satomi Arai and Eri Kitamura.
The film is a compilation of the first season, featuring new scenes and remastered sound effects. The story follows Nagate Tanikaze, who has spent his entire life living deep beneath Sidonia’s surface. While searching for food, he ventures above ground for the first time and discovers humanity’s ongoing struggle to survive against the Gauna.
