Woody has spent his whole life sure of one job: look after his kid. Now that kid is Bonnie, and Bonnie has made a new favorite out of a plastic spork named Forky, who is convinced he is trash and keeps trying to throw himself away. A family road trip sends Woody, Buzz, and the rest into a cluttered antique store and a traveling carnival, where Woody runs into Bo Peep living free of any owner. Pixar's fourth outing, directed by Josh Cooley, stays warm and funny while turning quietly pointed about purpose and letting go.
